13/03/12 The architectural competition for the new church in Våler with an impressive amount of participations has been settled. Huus og Heim won either. Our proposal is now available on our webpage. Congratulations to Espen Surnevik who won the contest!

05/02/12 Renovation of the historic Arnstein Arneberg villa in central Oslo is completed. Huus og Heim have been comissioned by the Finish Embassy, and the upgrading of the residency have been done in close contact with the ambassador.

30/01/12 Huus og Heim are one of the selected young offices presented in this years Norwegian annual of Architecture.

17/10/11 Projects from HHA is presented in several books this fall. First available is “1000x European Architecture,” from BraunPublishing, presenting 1000 projects from leading offices throughout Europe.

01/05/12 In cooperation with LMR Architecture Huus og Heim has designed two apartment buildings at Rodeløkka in Oslo. Construction is scheduled  to start  2012.

30/08/10 First phase of the tourist stop at Djupevik in Hardanger is completed. The project is on display in Ullensvang municipality. This fall, the project will be exhibited in Bergen by the Norwegian Public Roads Administration. The project is part of the National Tourist Route along the Hardanger Fjord.

20/08/2010 HHA are invited to ‘Tredagen’ in NTNU, Trondheim on Monday the 20th of September. The other speakers are Svein Skibnes (NO), Lechner Lechner (AUT), Sverre Sondresen (NO) and Tham & Videgård (SE).

01/05/10 Huus og Heim are to participate in Belgrade International Architectural Week, BINA10. Other norwegian offices attending are Jensen og Skodvin Architects, Brendeland & Kristoffersen Architects, Fantastic Norway Architects and Helen og Hard.

10/02/10 The exhibition ‘Understanding a cultural heritage site – the drawings of Sverre Ødegaard’ designed by Huus og Heim Arkitektur opens to the public on the 13th of February at the  Røros Museum.

Sverre Ødegaard (1947 -2002) is renouned as an artist, a local historian, author, antiquarian and museum director. The extensive work he laid down, contributed to the mining town of Røros receiving a place on the UNESCO list of World Heritage Sites. The travelling exhibition will continue to other UNESCO cities from 2011 onwards.

14/10/09 Huus og Heim has been selected as one of the “Top Ten Architects under 40″ in Norway by newitalianblood.com
